Waco time with Unkie & Aunt Sue

We headed off to Waco to spend time with Unkie and Aunt Sue. They are SO MUCH FUN!!

They decided to surprise us and take us to the Waco zoo!

I guuuuuuuuuuess I'll go (hahahahahaha!)

They had baby tigers!!!!

and beautiful Bald Eagles that I caught taking a bath... and a rainbow appeared in the shot!

and we got to see nighttime creatures... like bats

(which I LOVE because they eat the dreaded mosquito!)

and the giraffes were out, thankfully we were there when it was still "cool" enough. ya know... 95 degrees!

holy tortoise!

and jaguars... WOW!

Tristan was a cool little butterfly

and Aunt Sue warned us about this teeny tiny little deer-like creature

(The best was hearing kids say "Mom, Dad... look a DikDik" and EVERY parent chuckled!)

then T (teeny tiny in yellow at the end of the slide) played with Aunt Sue (in the tree fort)
it was HUGE!!

WHOOOOOOOOOOOO can spy TWOOOOOOOO owls?

then we headed back home after a great restaurant with a million turtles, fish and birds - we got to feed them all and it was a hoot.

This below is Bell...she was abused as a pup... so she's very afraid of people.  It took me almost a full 24 hours for her to let me pet her.  That was PAINFUL!!

Off to buy tickets for the upcoming Homecoming game at Baylor.  Can't wait to be back again with family Such a great weekend!!!
