Grandpa Harold's turn

Found some old pics of Grandpa....

This is Grandpa Harold... 1 year old

I don't know why... but this has always been my favorite picture of my dad. He was 1 1/2 here and just something about it mesmerizes me... sweet little face.

So fun to have these and to have the technology to add for Tristan's blog and books!!!

Mommy looks like Gwamma

I constantly say to Holt (and probably everyone else I know) - "Doesn't so and so look like this person"

CONSTANTLY... it drives Holt INSANE. He thinks it's rude

So yesterday, I came home and showed him this picture of my mom. Didn't say one word.

He said "Wow, it's YOU!" I rarely think I look like someone but THIS picture... well...it's me.

Odd when you see that and I'm used to people saying my sis and I look just alike (seriously, 1/2 our baby pictures I have no clue who's who) but this was crazy when I saw it.

January is the month to Support "a" Soldier!

First things first... for Christmas, we did a care calendar so that Tristan could learn to give back all year long. January is support "a" (meaning... more than one if you want OR a single person) and I had trouble finding ONE person.

So Balfour Beatty was doing something that we could join in on!!

♥We need your help to show some Valentine’s Day love to our local Veterans!♥

In recognition of National Salute to Veterans week, we are collecting kid-made Valentine’s Day cards to deliver to Veterans at the Dallas VA hospital. Sonntag Elementary (Frisco ISD) is graciously providing a group of kids in from their KC Club (Kindness and Compassion Club) and Student Council to make several 100 cards however, we are looking for a few Balfour Beatty kids that might like to make cards too. If you are interested in your child(ren) making Valentine Cards, please email Christie Stewart.

We will also be providing gift baskets to our veterans. Below is a list of items that we are collecting. If you would like to donate an item, please take it to Kamecia Lambert on the 7^thfloor. All items are needed by Friday, February 3rd.

Balfour Beatty also had a sign up for Girl Scout Cookies. I'm trying to lose weight... so for weeks I RAN by the sign up sheets. Well, I forgot... they will send them to US troops!

Bought 4 boxes. Below is a photo of one of the guys daughters For Sale sign... too cute to pass up!

SO IMPORTANT TO GIVE BACK, so important to not just TAKE from this world and I hope that we always make it a priority for Tristan to think of others more than he thinks of himself!

Monday Holtie and I went dancing again

Then last night we had our life group over....

I didn't realize how many kiddos we had. AND we have two more on the way!

Tristan asked if he could "hold the baby" and Michelle said yes...

He said he was a big brother... it was SO cute!!

Beckett was thrown into the mix after a few minutes....

Bounce who? BounceU!!! Happy Birthday Tristan!

These are the cookies Aunt Kimmie made for the kiddos. SOOOOOO CUTE!

Tristan decided to start his nap approximately 15 minutes before his party.

I woke him up and said it was time to go to his party and he said...

So, as you can imagine I was a tad worried about his attitude.

Five seconds later... Adam... our party planner is on the scene.

I love that kid... well and mine... but seriously... he turned grumpy into fantastic in 2 seconds flat!!
