Mrs. Claws arrived and then left....

So we found this kitten outside...

 

and she is SO sweet.  Tristan has manhandled her and she could care less.

and so sweet

we named her Mrs. Claws...

and we LOVE her!!

and, while I knew we couldn't keep her... and explained to Tristan why...

it was fun to pretend for a minute

so Daddy let her spend the night inside (it's really cold out today and going to be worse tonight)

 

and Tristan (ok and I) LOVED every second!

we left her in the playroom while we went to the Olivers for the Christmas party

and last night... Tristan brought her in his room and said "Mom, this is the BEST Christmas EVER!" it was so cute... so sweet and so sad (because I knew today would come)

T ran to her this morning and she purred and purred...

 

so while we are soaking up our last few moments with Mrs. Claws...

 

these are the teachable moments for us to show animals love and kindness, and patience

and all we can do is the best that we can.  That just means LOVE something...with your whole heart.

and we did that.  We will miss you Mrs. Claws!!
