Sleepless in Seattle!

This was my view from 36,000 feet

I am not sure.. but it might be Mt. Ranier...

whatever it was... it was beautiful!

Pook and I found each other at the airport and it was so fun spending the day catching up!

we hit the market and knew this would be a big spot for the weekend!

then the rest of the Ya Ya's arrived!!

first there were wine tastings....

drinks and some silliness in the bathrooom

we walked....

believe it or not I found some animals to love on...

and walked...

and ate (not the gum wall though... that was nasty!!)

and took more silly pics

and laughed our butts off

(cut us some slack, it was the BUMP KITCHEN)

then... our last full day together we took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island.

Oh man, Holt would have LOVED it here. I sure did.

and we ate SO MUCH FOOD here...

and captured my favorite picture of the weekend

then a bird dive bombed Lisa....

and Jenny was holding the Space Needle ;)

and Lisa being simply beautiful!

Lis, Trev and me... (and my new sassy jacket that I love)

Pook even got a little lucky while we were there!!  Good find Deb!!

and you won't believe this... but we played silly kid games

a little peek-a-boo anyone??

I was hiding... I don't think they saw me!

it was (obviously) the Perfect Climate For WINE!!

and on the way back we met the singer Pitbull.  I had no clue who he was...

(ok, ok, it wasn't him but I'm told it looks just like him!!)

Javier was a really nice guy... that sells Avon. Strange job for such a cool dude but he's great at it!!

After the ferry... we headed back from some shopping

and found THIS!

and while this makes no sense to "you" it makes all the sense in the world to the Ya Ya's and Debbie's AFLAC presentations!!

we made a final run to the Original Starbucks

and about 50 other Starbucks stores.  It was INSANE!!

Seattle is a beatiful city and we loved seeing it for the first time...together.

and I can honestly say, they fill something in my soul... they are "home".

and I love them each dearly for a thousand different reasons....

and these moments
 are

PRICELESS!

We will miss you Seattle!!

I blog so my memories can last a lifetime and be your memories too Tristan!

LOVE YOU GIRLS... and you my little man.  This is the "other" side of my life...

when I'm just "Jules" with the people that have loved me my whole life and believe it or not... I was once young, and silly and goofy...

and more than "just your mom"

(my favorite job on the planet!)

Here's to 2013... who knows where we will head next July!!

  1. Awwesome blog, honey...What a precious gift all of this is for Tristan. To think that he'll have each year (for as long as you do it) bound in a book...You are such a wonderful mom and though we are all blessed to have Tristan in our lives, he is so lucky to have you as his mommy...
