First things first... for Christmas, we did a care calendar so that Tristan could learn to give back all year long. January is support "a" (meaning... more than one if you want OR a single person) and I had trouble finding ONE person.
So Balfour Beatty was doing something that we could join in on!!
♥We need your help to show some Valentine’s Day love to our local Veterans!♥
In recognition of National Salute to Veterans week, we are collecting kid-made Valentine’s Day cards to deliver to Veterans at the Dallas VA hospital. Sonntag Elementary (Frisco ISD) is graciously providing a group of kids in from their KC Club (Kindness and Compassion Club) and Student Council to make several 100 cards however, we are looking for a few Balfour Beatty kids that might like to make cards too. If you are interested in your child(ren) making Valentine Cards, please email Christie Stewart.
We will also be providing gift baskets to our veterans. Below is a list of items that we are collecting. If you would like to donate an item, please take it to Kamecia Lambert on the 7thfloor. All items are needed by Friday, February 3rd.
So Tristan and I shopped at Walmart and Target....
and made goodie boxes...
then it was time to make the cards...
