Goodbye Primrose

Friday is T's last day at school

so we made a little "Happy Summer/Goodbye" treat...

Hoping my little man won't be too sad...

hopefully at the stage where it doesn't effect him....

you ARE KOOL Nugg, too cool and I know that you will make new friends at your new schools so I should worry.

No stress allowed, it's time for fun!

Welcome to summer everyone!!!

Happy Memorial Day

I had to serve in Kids Church so we couldn't go to the lake this weekend. So, we decided to get dressed...

kiss the fur-kids goodbye

and

head off to the Jones'!

Budreaux was there to greet us...

and it took T about 10 seconds to get in the pool.

and I'm pretty sure... they were happy we arrived!

Daddy and JJ got the TV set up and it was time to HANG!!

Uncle Sue and JJ have to travel today

so we brought the food and hung out and relaxed.

We ALL needed it!

Man, he's going to love our pool!

that's me... getting a sunburn

he didn't even fight us on the life jacket!

but soon enough... they were tired so it was movie time

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah - air conidtioning!

wish I took more pics. But, I got busy ...doing NOTHING... and forgot.

Soon we will teach Tristan about this weekend and what it REALLY means.

THANK YOU for those that have served.  I don't personally know your sacrifice but I am SO thankful for it.

Happy 3rd birthday Gabby

Today we went to Gabby's 3rd birthday.  Wasn't sure how T would do on no nap.

BUT then...I saw Addison was there - she always makes him happy!

Then Daddy and I jumped and flipped with him in "The Pit" - pretty fun to be honest!

There he is with Addison's big sis - Autumn!

(Check out the equipment - hahahaha)

After an hour it was time to sing!

and eat....

And boy oh boy did she!!!!!

Happy Birthday Gabby!  Thanks for inviting us to your party!!

Spring Fling and new friends!

Last night we stopped in at Tristan's new school for their annual Spring Fling.  We were hoping that Tristan could do something really FUN at the school so that when we have to drop him off on July 15th, he would remember and be ready to go!

Didn't take him long to feel at home!

he looks miserable doesn't he?

then we at some pizza and found out there was a petting zoo.  Tristan just HAD TO go in there.

(Ok, fine... it was ME)

while I was still staring at llamas, baby pigs, bunnies, chicks, he quickly ran over to the toys

and played.... and LOVED it!!

after a bit we had to go.  Time to pop over to the new house and take a measurement.

"Uncle Kirk" just happened to be driving down the street to see his mom so he came on in and got a tour of the house.  I'd never seen him in his police uniform before and Tristan usually sees him in jeans, or on his Harley so he was a little nervous.

Pretty cute actually.

I tried to lie to my mom and tell her that we got busted for breaking into our new house... but the smile on Holt's face kind of shows there is no evidence of trouble.

Of course, T ended up in his underwear in the pool... pretty sure the new house and new school are a hit.  (Thanks God... needed this to go well!!)

The inspection is this or next week and then we are in the clear.  Father's Day weekend, we move.  And for the next few years... this... is home.

Summer Camp Sign-up

I am thrilled!  Tristan was just accepted to Grace Academy's Summer Camp Program.

June 4th-8th: Super Heroes

June 11th-15th: Mad Science

June 18th-22nd: Around the World

June 25th-29th: Olympic Games

July 2nd-6th: Stars and Stripes

July 9th-13th: Discover your Talent

Holy FUN!!!

July 14th he starts at his new school.. but for the summer he will be right down the street from our new house and we are hoping to get him into this school next year....

A ball game, a baby and a birthday in 24 hours!

We started this weekend off at Ebby's Annual RoughRiders game....

and somehow...someway... Tristan decided he liked baseball hats!

then we played on the playground while Daddy socialized with coworkers...

I can't wait for him to have a playground at our house!!

we got home VERY late...and woke up early so we could get it all together and go to baby Shane's dedication at church!!

the "Hawk" our small group mentor (kind of) led the morning for Michelle, Mike and Shane.

It was very sweet, Mike was VERY sweet and even got me crying a few times!!  It was awesome to hear what was expected of a dad and I wish I had it so I could post...someday we hope you are a Daddy Tristan so you can experience the joy of being a parent!!

that was one of the moments I cried.  I LOOOOOOOOOVE Shane.... and it was SUCH a sweet moment!

Then Daddy went to work and T and I grabbed lunch...then Grace's gift, met Daddy and drove out to her 8th birthday party!!
Cute little cake!

I forgot my camera (at all events), so thankful Holt took some.

Sweet little Gracie!

The kids all went swimming...but in typical James Jones fashion... he forgot to mention POOL party... we just got the party part.  So ... Tristan improvised and swam in his underwear.  Not much different than his swim diaper that he refuses to get out of.  All of those cute swim shorts have gone to waste so far.  :(

Before we left, all the kids rode the little John Deer... and I had to get them unstuck more than once.  So cute watching them all.

Finally home... T has had a 10 minute nap so I have a feeling that his 8:30pm bedtime will be 8pm and that means early MOVIE NIGHT!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!  We have one more day to go on our home (inspections will all be final), we sign Tristan up for his new school Monday and *BAM!* things are moving along!
